Amarand Avenue is situated just off January Masilela Drive and is a prominent entrance into the Menlyn Maine Precinct.
Planting on the road medians as well as on the main circle is fully indigenous and water-wise. Special attention was paid to ensure that the plants chosen created various alternating colours and textures but also did not obstruct site lines for people in vehicles.
A similar design language is carried throughout the roads within the precinct which gives the precinct a specific identity.
