Located in Centurion alongside the Hennops River, Riverside Office Park was developed to utilise the river and open space as a focal point and attraction, through linking the natural open space to a central park feature in the development through an open space strip and a walkway.
The riverine area was also rehabilitated as part of the development. The project involved creative thinking entailing hard landscaping, as the presence of dolomite resulted in stringent conditions pertaining to drainage and water usage in the landscape.
The entrance and pedestrian areas were enhanced through strong paving lines, linked with landscape mowing edges and bed shapes.
Prominent organic lines were used to imitate the river, but also to enhance the strong architectural lines.
