The Rustenburg Open Space and Heritage Management Plan (ROSHMAP), in partnership with the Rustenburg Local Municipality (RLM) was undertaken to identify a structure of open spaces within the RLM, establish the fundamental value of the open space structure and develop an innovative roadmap towards the creation of spaces for recreation, environmental education and aesthetic purposes.
